Pentecost comes into view as the fulfillment of God’s desire for habitation: His presence dwelling within people, rather than being confined to a temple made with hands.
This is a book about the gift of the Spirit and the life that grows from His presence. Glenn explores baptism in the Holy Spirit, being continually filled, the language of the Spirit, and what it means for Christ to be formed within us. The finished work of Jesus is the foundation of this participation, not an argument against it.
Spiritual maturity is therefore approached as growth from grace rather than a struggle for acceptance. We do not develop the life of Christ by trying to earn the Father’s love. We learn to live from the treasure already given, allowing His love to take shape in our relationships, our worship, and our everyday life.
